Pro-Life Christians Arrested at the Alamo Over 'Free Speech Zone' Rule
According to The Christian Post, as reported by The Gateway Pundit, four abortion-abolitionist activists were arrested on Aug. 15 near the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas, after holding pro-life signs outside a designated "free speech zone." A police officer gave the group five minutes to comply or face arrest for criminal trespass; when they did not leave, they were arrested. Grisham, one of the activists, told The Christian Post there was no city ordinance being enforced — only internal site rules — and that the group believes the sidewalk area, marked by a plaque quoting Benjamin Franklin on freedom of speech, is a traditional public forum protected by the First Amendment. Grisham said he plans to fight the charges in court and has sent a letter to Texas General Land Office Commissioner Dawn Buckingham asking her office to review the matter. The article notes a similar incident occurred a month earlier in Fort Worth, where police threatened evangelists, prompting a formal objection from the Trump administration over viewpoint discrimination.

Why Bible-Believing Christians Should Care
Whatever the outcome of the trespass charges, this case illustrates a recurring pattern: local authorities restricting where and how Christians may speak in spaces historically open to the public, often through internal "rules" rather than enacted law. According to the member who reported this to us, he described city police as serving "anti-Christian leftists" and abandoning their oath — a strong claim that should be treated as one activist's perspective, not established fact. Regardless, believers should watch how public forums are quietly redefined to exclude pro-life and gospel speech, since the same tactic can be applied to any biblical conviction civil authorities find inconvenient.

The adversary's greatest advantage is surprise, the ability to disguise a conquest as a series of unrelated administrative adjustments. By the time the faithful realize they are in Phase 4, the infrastructure of their defeat was laid in Phases 1 and 2.
