1. What we collect — said plainly
When you take the Seven Mountains Assessment, we collect your answers. Those answers include your location at state and metro level(never more precise) and sensitive information about your personal situation — including whether you feel personally targeted in your institution, whether you have allies there, and whether your livelihood is tied to it. We ask because the reports and alerts are built from exactly that information, and we tell you here plainly because you deserve to know before you answer. If you complete the assessment, we also collect your email and first name. If you purchase, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your payment details — we never see or store card numbers.
2. How we use it
Your assessment data generates your report, matches future alerts to your mountain and location, and personalizes the email series you request. We also use aggregated, de-identified data (completion rates, drop-off, results distribution) to improve the assessment. We track whether our emails are delivered, opened, and clicked so we can measure what is actually useful.
3. What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not rent lists. We do not share your individual answers, your exposure information, or your location with anyone except the service providers below, and never for their own use.
4. Service providers
We use Netlify (hosting and database), Neon (database infrastructure via Netlify), Resend (email delivery), and Stripe (payments). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function for us.
5. Email choices
Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately and without argument. Transactional messages (your report, purchase receipts, delivery links) are sent only when you request them or buy something.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while you have a relationship with us (subscriber, member, or customer). Email info@williamagreen.com to request a copy of your data or its deletion; we honor deletion requests except where records must be kept for tax or legal purposes. 7. Children
The Services are for adults and are not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.
