Before they go
Sometime this year your son or daughter will sit in a room where the price of their faith is named out loud: a training they must attend, a statement they are asked to sign, a club that loses its room, a professor’s rule about what may be said. It will happen on a Tuesday, and they will be the only Christian in the room.
They do not have to be alone in it. This is what a year of the Shield Wall puts in their hands before they need it.
What the first year brings
The same three moments, on every campus
- The form. Orientation, a residence-life agreement, a club charter, a pledge to graduate. Somewhere in it is a sentence they are asked to affirm rather than obey, and a deadline that leaves no time to think.
- The room. A discussion section, a training, a floor meeting, where the question is put to them directly and the answer they give is the one everyone remembers.
- The office. Student life, the dean, a bias-response form. The place where a conviction gets renamed as conduct, and where the words they use decide what happens next.

An answer the night it happens, and the training before it does
Ask. At eleven at night, with the form open, they describe what happened in their own words and in a minute or two have an answer drawn from the book, from Scripture, and from the law of their state: what is being done to them, what to say, and the next step. The school. Two modules were written for exactly this ground. Secularism and Atheism: The Water We Swim In makes the campus’s default faith visible as a faith, and asks the questions it cannot answer from inside. Witnessing on Your Mountain maps what a Christian inside a hostile institution can still lawfully say and do, where the real line sits, and where the intimidated line has been drawn instead. Field Cases. Short videos of a believer in a real bind and the exact words that change the ground the fight is on. Watched before the moment, the words are already there when it comes.

A sending Sunday
Every August a church sends its graduates off with a prayer. Send them with equipment too. A church can carry a link of its own to this page, and a portion of every membership that comes through it goes to the church’s own ministry fund. William also speaks to congregations on what their students are walking into, and every talk ends the same way: the words to say, and where to go when it happens.

What does the gift include?

How does the student get it?
You pay once and receive a code by email. The student creates a free account with the email they will keep through school, then enters the code at rulesforradicalchristians.com/redeem. The year starts the day they redeem it, so it can wait for move-in.
Does it renew or charge a card later?
No. There is no card on the student's account and nothing renews. When the year ends, the account goes back to free, which still includes every alert, the assessment, and one answered ask.

The student describes a situation in their own words, a mandatory training, a pledge to sign, a professor's rule, a club denied recognition, and in a minute or two gets an answer drawn from the book, from Scripture, and from the public record of the law in their state: what is being done to them, what to say, and the next step. Members get five a month and can follow a situation through its updates.
