Why Bible-Believing Christians Should Care

For years, students and faculty on secular campuses have faced discipline, mandatory training, or expulsion threats for declining to affirm gender-identity claims that contradict biological sex — a form of institutional compulsion many Christians could not in conscience obey. If California has genuinely rolled back punishment for 'misgendering,' it is a meaningful check on that compulsion, at least on paper. Christians should not mistake this for cultural agreement with a biblical view of sex and gender, but it does remove one lever colleges have used to force speech contrary to conscience and Scripture's teaching that God created humanity male and female.
