Santa Fe Schools Add Parental Consent, Still Withhold Facility Notice
If this is your mountain
- Request a copy of your district's current Gender Support Plan policy and ask specifically whether other parents are notified before shared-facility arrangements change.
- Ask your local school board, in writing, whether restroom and locker room access is based on biological sex or stated gender identity, and request the answer be entered into public record.
- If your district withholds notification under FERPA, consult legal counsel (e.g., Liberty Counsel) about whether the conduct involved constitutes reportable harassment separate from privacy protections.
- Document any incident involving your child and a Gender Support Plan in writing immediately, including names, dates, and administrator responses.
The answers are for members
Each of these has been researched: what the public record already answers, and for the rest, the exact question to put to your own district or council — worded so it has to be answered with a date and a recorded vote.
